Lconf demo site?

Hello all,

I just discovered that Nconf doesn't allow a user to assign a check_command to a service template.

In my opinion, this greatly limits the functionality enough that I will not use Nconf.

Therefore, I'm back "in the market" for a icinga web UI configuration tool.

NagiosQL seems to be good, and supports the ability to assign a check_command to a service template.

I am curious if Lconf does the same.

Icinga dudes: Is there a demo site of Lconf available? If so, how can I access it?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

we have a public demo, but you need to register (we create an individual icinga account)

Thank you sir!

It doesn't appear that the Lconf installation is linked with an LDAP server:
https://icinga.demo.netways.de/icinga-web/modules/lconf/

So, I can not see many features (other than the web interface, and barely that). Is there anyway that you guys can link it to an LDAP server?

Otherwise, if you can simply confirm that the feature of setting a check_command for a service template is present, I'll continue rolling out Lconf.

Thanks,

Matt Brown

Clearly I missed that fact that you need to connect after logging on by clicking once on connection tile on the right pane, then connect.
