[solved] - Nagios startet nicht mehr nach Nagios::Plugin installation

Hallo zusammen,

ich wollte unseren Nagios updaten und zwar mit CentOS und dem Installationspaket von DAG über yum
hat soweit auch alle gut funktioniert:
- yum install nagios nagios-plugins nagios-plugins-nrpe nagios-devel
- alte Konfiguration übernommen
- zusätzliche Plugins übernommen

alles fein soweit - jetzt habe ich aber noch den MessPC, der über das Plugin check_pcmeasure2.pl abgefragt wird.
Wenn ich dieses Plugin ausführe bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung (hab es grad nicht mehr vorliegen, lässt sich aber ggf. morgen nochmal herausbekommen), dass irgendwas .pm fehlt. Hab dazu recheriert und festgestellt, dass wohl das Nagios::Plugin von perl nicht installiert sei.

nun hab ich das Plugin installiert mit:

- perl -MCPAN -e 'install Nagios::Plugin'

SUPER -> das Plugin check_pcmeasure2.pl läuft wunderbar.
ABER mein nagios lässt sich nicht mehr starten:

Da mir die überprüfung der Konfiguration keine Fehlermeldung zurückgibt bin ich etwas ratlos. Könnte es daran liegen, dass die YUM-Pakete nicht mit --enable-embedded-perl erstellt wurden? In der nagios.cfg steht allerding:

VIelleicht verwendet "service nagios start" eine andere Konfigurationsdatei als /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg. Alternativ kannst Du mal versuchen, Nagios mit "/usr/bin/nagios -d /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg" zu starten.

Hi Wolfgang,

das hab ich ausprobiert - ohne Erfolg. In der Shell kommt keine weitere Meldung, aber nagios läuft auch nicht.

Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass nagios die Datei /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg verwendet. Bei den ersten Starts bin ich auch auf Fehler in dieser Datei hingewiesen worden. :(

Sorry Leute hat sich erledigt... wie dumm von mir!!!
Das Startscript hat gestimmt, alles war super. Bei dem Update muss sich irgendwie das doofe SELinux wieder angeschaltet haben.

das nächste mal weiß ich:

- setenforce 0

kann wunder bewirken. Trotzdem wundert es mich, dass Nagios die Fehlermeldung bringt:
"Running configuration check... CONFIG ERROR! Restart aborted. Check your Nagios configuration."

P.S.: kann ich das Thema hier irgendwie schließen??
