Everything showing as Pending and will not change - yet DB is updating and Nagvis is talking to DB...

My maps are all showing everything as pending. I can create maps and know the DB connection is working because it is pulling in the names of my hosts and services and displaying them. It's just not updating the statuses of them (they are all Pending). If I click on them in NagVis it loads Nagios and shows the hosts as online and working properly.

Any ideas?

Running NagVis 1.5.3, Nagios 3.2.3, Ndoutils 1.4b9. Ndo2db is running in the background and it seems to be updating the database (if you check the nagios_programstatus table it shows status_update_time equal to current time).

It's almost as if NagVis is trying to read a status field from the DB that isn't there. Is this possibly a version conflict or schema conflict or something?

Thanks!

Seems something is mixed up in your db. Fix the db contents by stopping nagios, removing all data from the db tables and start nagios again. Should fix it.

The real solution: Switch to MkLivestatus and you"ll be happy.
