Problem mit mySQL DB füllen

Hallo LEute wenn ich versuche die Db zu füllen (als root) bekomm ich ne passwort abfrage wenn ich das passwort eingebe sagt er nur "access denied" ... woran kann das liegen???

Ok einfach mal die enter taste zu drücken hilft... der hat kein PW .... aber wenn ich den Befehl ausführe sagt er mir nun das


[root@nagios2 db]# mysql -u root -p < mysql.sql
Enter password:
ERROR 1046 (3D000) at line 19: No database selected




OK LEute danke aber ahbs slbst gefunden ... hab den DB namen vergessen lol ... doku lesen muss gelernt sein

Hi,

es sieht so aus, als hättes du ndo als user root gestartet.

Du müsst ndo2db als user nagios starten. Dann sollte das erledigt sein:

1. NDO mit kill aus dem Speicher entfernen.
2. Nagios stoppen
2. su nagios
3. Ausführen: /usr/local/nagios/bin/ndo2db -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/ndo2db.cfg

Danach wieder als root
Nagios starten

hi nmeyer,

ok hab den fehler gefunden ...

hatte selber ndo als nagios gestartet
hat auch 2 prozesse mit "ps -ef | grep ndo" gezeigt die von nagios gestartet wurden.

Ich hatte den restart von nagios selbst vergessen ... danke

unable to connect to data sink

Hallo ,

es klappt leider nicht!?

Ich bekomme die Meldung:

ndomod: Still unable to connect to data sink. 0 items lost, 2948 queued items to flush.

Ich habe auch die Reihenfolge und das Starten als Nagiosuser beachtet.
Aber irgendetwas läuft noch schief.

Hat jemand noch eine Idee?

Es muss doch eine Datei ndo.sock existieren ? ?(
Tut es aber nicht!

Ok, das sieht bis hierhin gut aus, aber ich kann aus Deinem LogFile leider nicht entnehmen, das sich der ndo2db-Daemon erfolgreich an die DB connected hat! Schau bitte nochmal im LogFile nach!

Sorry, ich hatte einen Fehler in der ndo2db.cfg. Dort stand der socket typ auf tcp. Ich habe ihn auf unix gestellt und jetzt ist auch ein connect im log zu sehen. Aber jetzt kommt eine andere Meldung. Die Datei ndo.sock wird auch angelegt.

[nagios@xxxxxx ~]$ ll /var/nagios/ndo.sock
srwxrwxr-x 1 nagios nagios 0 27. Aug 23:02 /var/nagios/ndo.sock

Sie bleibt allerdings leer.

Dann suche im Forum einmal danach! ?(

Irgendetwas muss aber laufen, wenn ich mich bei mysql anmelde bekomme ich folgende Meldung. ID 1229 !!!!!!

OK, es kann mehrere Gründe haben ...

1. Permissions von dbo2db.sock kontrollieren. Socket wird von ndo2db angelegt.

2. Pfade in ndo2db und ndomod.o kontrollieren.

3. Mysql User / Passort kontrollieren.

Hast du sicher schon gemacht, aber sicher ist sicher.

Der mysql Server öffnet ja auch ein Socket, das ndo2db zum schreiben in die DB benutzt. Ich meine hier mal gelesen zu haben das das unter RedHat nicht unter /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock liegt und ndo2db dann Probleme beim schreiben bekommt.

?( Ich blicke es irgendwie nicht mehr, habt Geduld mit mir


Anbei mein Konfigs.

dbo2db.sock find ich nicht, das ist doch der Name in der Konfig, Oder!?

output=/va/nagios/ndo.sock => wird nicht erstellt ?


Pfade sollten stimmen

mysql user/pw ok., damit kann ich mich anmelden und in die DB schreiben


bei meiner redhat Installation liegt der DB Socket in /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

srwxrwxrwx 1 mysql mysql 0 27. Aug 23:44 /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

Muss ndo2db auf diese File schreiben können????
