Dependency

Hallo Leute,
bin gerade beim Einarbeiten von Nagios und bin gerade bei dem Punkt Dependency. Nun möchte ich gerne wissen ob ich dies auch wirklich verstanden habe!

Folgendes:
Wenn nun www.google.de OK ist und www.yahoo.de, Warning, Unknown oder Critical ist, dann findet keine Alarmierung statt.

define servicedependency{
host_name test1
service_description www.google.de
dependent_host_name www.yahoo.de
dependent_service_description http
execution_failure_criteria o
notification_failure_criteria w,u,c
}

Lieg ich nun richtig, oder muss ich execution_failure_criteria und notification_failure_criteria tauschen??

notification_failure_criteria gibt an bei welchem status des übergeordneten checks eine benachrichtigung ausbleiben soll...

execution_failure_criteria gibt an bei weilchem status die überprüfung ausbleiben soll...


du hast jetzt also:

wenn test1 oder www.google.de unknown, warning, oder critical sind - dann erfolgt keine meldung bzgl. www.yahoo.de oder httpt weil die beiden ja von test1 bzw. www.google.de abhängig sind.

Also, ich möchte folgendes:
